Archbishop Burke was the recipient of HLI’s Cardinal von Galen Award of February 2007, which is given primarily to Catholic prelates who stand up and defend the innocent and the Church.I only came to hear of this when I was catching up on some things and read HLI's press release regarding Archbishop Burke's stand in the Cardinal Glennon/Sheryl Crow Fundraising debacle...
Congratulations to Archbishop Burke on this award - I wish that it had been reported in a timely manner.
