St. Rose Philippine Duchesne
St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, a member of the Society of the Sacred Heart, was one of Missouri’s foremost pioneer women. She lived in the St. Ferdinand convent from 1819 to 1827 and again from 1834 to 1840. Pope John Paul II canonized her in Rome on July 3, 1988.
