THOU, O Lord, who ever livest in thyself and nothing dieth in thee, because thou art before all ages and before all that which can ever be said to have been before, who art the God and Lord of all thy creatures, in whose presence do stand the causes of all things that are unstable and even of all things that are changeable - the unchangeable roots remain with thee, and the eternal reasons of things which are temporal and irrational do live.
