Fault-Finding Infectious
Nothing spreads more quickly or is more infectious that ill-natured criticism. A single unkind remark is often enough to set a room full of people complaining and fault-finding. Were a dictaphone installed at certain social gatherings it would record in a quarter of an hour enough libels to keep the courts busy with actions for slander for twelve months.
