Thoughts from St Alphonsus for Every Day-November 29

My Jesus, whose the hands that wove
That cruel thorny crown?
Who made that hard and heavy cross
Which weighs thy shoulders down?
'Tis I have thus ungrateful been,
Yet, Jesus, pity take;
Oh, spare and pardon me, my Lord,
For thy sweet mercy's sake.
