Thoughts of St Augustine for February 9

BUT where had that Freewill of mine remained for so long a time and from what deep and hidden corner was it called forth, in that moment when I did submit my neck to thy easy yoke and my shoulders to thy light burden, O Christ Jesus, my helper and my Redeemer.
