Walgreens Tells Illinois Pharmacists: Find Jobs Elsewhere

On a local Fox news broadcast last night, several Illinois pharmacists were either terminated or given leave (I'm not certain which) because they refused to dispense the "morning after" drug mixture since, for them, it is a violation of conscience.

But in the Peoples Republik of Illinois, headed by dictator "Iron" Rod Blagojevich, pharmacists are not afforded the freedom to think and act on a rightly formed conscience. They MUST close their eyes and follow the lead of the blind. If the state demands that one be complicit in murder of the unborn, one must obey or be deprived of his livelihood. How sweet!

Walgreens, as I understand it from bits of the report I saw, wishes to abide by the law which forces all Illinois pharmacies to dispense the child-killing (and sometimes mother-killing) drug concoction to whomever has the required paperwork. I wonder if Blagojevich ever thanks his mother that he was not the unfortunate victim of such a fate? I wonder if she has any regrets?

Hopefully, the pharmacists will be able to obtain work elsewhere, in the hope that they can be instrumental in helping to SAVE lives rather than destroy them. This might mean fighting the tyrannical laws of Illinois or moving to a free state.

Sorry, no link yet...
