What's up with VOTFSL theses days?

From a weekly email update we learn that:

Voice of the "Faithful" St Louis (VOTFSL) is planning on joining the ranks of the rebels of St Stanislaus and the dissidents of the "Holy Families" group (associated with Catholic Action Network) by holding a candlelight vigil on the steps of the Cathedral Basilica. (Interestingly, VOTFSL will be holding its vigil in the evening when lighted candles might be seen rather than during midday as the St Stanislaus contingent did.

VOTFSL, ostensibly, will be holding this vigil to honor all those who have lost their lives because of the clergy sex abuse crisis.

It seems that it would be more appropriate and efficacious if other means were used (such as the offering of Holly Mass), but, then, where is the publicity in that? It seems that nationally, active VOTF members are on the decline, as Diogenes reports here.
