Vatican symposium to weigh women's role

Rome, Feb. 1, 2008 (CWNews.com) - The Pontifical Council for the Laity has organized an international conference on the status of women, to take place in Rome next week, marking the 20th anniversary of the apostolic letter Mulieris Dignitatem by Pope John Paul II.

The conference, which will draw more than 250 from 49 countries for sessions February 7 through 9, will discuss the different but complementary aspects of motherhood and fatherhood, the balance between work and family life, and the increasing presence of women in prominent positions in society and in the Church...
Ooops, nevermind. Women priestesses doesn't appear on the agenda...my bad!
