Minneapolis Catholic Church to Host Gnostic Anglican "Priestess" & Homosexual "Unions" Supporter

As you may recall, some months ago in Minneapolis, St. Paul Archdiocese, A Faithful Rebel exposed the proposed lecture of Carol Curoe, an active lesbian who was scheduled to speak at a Catholic parish in Minneapolis.

Now, as if the radicals hadn't learned the lesson then, when the Archdiocese had to very wisely intervene and suggest that the venue be moved, now they are aiming at stirring up a little more scandal. They have invited a female Anglican "priestess" and supporter of homosexual unions to lead Catholics in "Centering prayer and inner awakening", again at a Minneapolis Catholic Church.[See notice here] One wonders why they cannot seem to grasp the serious and scandalous nature of such activities being held in Catholic parishes, by people who actively contradict the Church's teachings.

Is The End Of The World Coming On June 12th?

An elusive group just outside of Abilene, Texas is claiming the end of the world is coming in less than a week....Yahweh leader Yisrayl Hawkins says a nuclear holocaust will come June 12th and only members of his group will be saved....

Hawkins has predicted a doomsday twice before. He's also accused of having two dozen wives, and is facing bigamy charges.

Another goofy religious cult leader - if he was a Mohammedan, would polygamy charges apply? Doubtful.

In Mexico, 'Saint Death' Statue Inspires Followers

Seeing what is going on in the world, this comes as no surprise. The 'temple leader' even employs the very same rhetoric we hear from the left.

SANTA MARIA CUAUTEPEC, Mexico — Practically overnight, this has gone from a forgotten small town to a religious mecca where pilgrims travel hundreds of miles to seek answers to their prayers.

Their fervor is freaking people out.

While a similar shrine to a Catholic saint would likely be a source of pride, many residents are appalled at a 75-foot-tall statue of a skeleton shrouded in black, Santa Muerte (Saint Death). Although the Santa Muerte icon has existed for decades in working-class Mexican neighborhoods, never has it towered so ominously.

Yes, Satan is being elevated to new heights these days. He is becoming 'God' for many of the confused and deceived.

The temple's leader, a young man with a goatee and piercing eyes who is known as Godfather Endoque, has warned that worshipers might respond violently if the temple is shut down. Endoque said he wants peaceful coexistence, adding that town officials should realize that many of their own citizens are closeted Santa Muerte devotees.

"This isn't a figure or an image, it's a form of faith and love," Endoque said. "Let's respect each other. You can have your saints. We will have ours."

It's not "a figure or an image"? That's right, deny what it really is just as the evil one denies the truth. The man speaks like a politician.

The Catholic Church in Mexico has denounced Santa Muerte, saying she is linked to Satanism...

Yet some professed Catholics disagree with the Church about this practice being incompatible with one's faith. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

"There will be some people who beat their chests and say they don't agree. But imagine if we had to agree with the ideology of every person in this world," Endoque said.

"People are tired of looking for religion; people are tired of the priests who make off with the donations. What do they ask for now? Faith, which costs nothing more than love."

Faith? This is really a perversion of the faith. An idolotry, pure paganism.

Around the world we see they devil gaining more and more followers: the supporters of murdering unborn children through abortion, the supporter of the radical and perverted homosexual agenda, those who persist in the de-Christianization of the world, the researchers of embryonic stem cells and the subsequent destruction of human life, and the idolators of sin and evil...

Atheists Push Own Holidays

...The Institute for Humanist Studies, an Albany, N.Y.-based nonprofit, is calling attention to its calendar of atheist holidays on its Web site, www.secular seasons.org. The group wants nonbelievers (or at least people who don't celebrate religious holidays) to have a handy reference guide of the calendar of holidays honoring free-thinkers, banned books and nature, among other themes.

Matt Cherry, executive director of the Institute for Humanist Studies, said his group is trying to expand options and alternatives for secular holidays. He said he hopes even people affiliated with a particular religion will consider the options.

"Some religious holidays are about culture and tradition, not theology," he says. "Even people who go to church only on Christmas or to synagogue on the High Holidays do so out of cultural heritage, not because they believe the religious doctrines associated with it...."

Festivus, Darwin Day, the solstices, National Day of Reason in May, and so many more....

"This year, there will be almost 1,000 events for Darwin Day around the world," he said.

That's almost "3 holidays" everyday. Let's party!!!

Self-proclaimed bishop, nun kept deceased body

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Archdiocese Archbishop Timothy Dolan spoke about the dangers of cults on Sunday, after news broke of a self-proclaimed bishop and nun allegedly keeping a deceased 90-year-old woman's body in their house and cashing her Social Security checks....

Alan Bushey and Tammy Lewis allegedly kept the body of a 90-year-old woman sitting on the toilet for two months, claiming God would bring her back to life....

Bushey calls himself a bishop, and Tammy Lewis calls herself "Sister Mary Burnadette." But their so-called Catholic church isn't recognized by Rome.

"Periodically throughout the church you'll get these crackpots who claim to be bishops or claim to be priests or even claim to be part of the church, and they're not, of course," Dolan said....

And it seems there a superabundance of them these days.
