Baghdad Catholic Church Hostage Drama Ends in Bloodbath

At least 37 people have been killed after Iraqi security forces stormed a Catholic church in central Baghdad to free dozens of hostages being held by gunmen there, security sources say.

Twenty-five hostages were among the dead, along with seven members of the Iraqi security forces and at least five of the attackers, they told the BBC.

Lawsuit Filed Against Dearborn Schools and Muslim Principal Over Firing of Legendary Christian Wrestling Coach

ANN ARBOR, MI – The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan announced today that a federal lawsuit has been filed against a Dearborn, Michigan high school, Fordson High School, and its Muslim principal, Imad Fadlallah, over the firing of Gerald Marszalek because of Marszalek’s connection to a Christian volunteer coach.

Marszalek, who had coached wrestling for 35 years, had achieved a legendary status in the wrestling community. Earning more that 450 wins, and sending numerous wrestlers to various collegiate programs, he was elected to the Michigan High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame, named “Sportsman of the Year” by the All-American Athletic Association. Marszalek’s contract was not renewed because of his association with a Christian volunteer coach, Trey Hancock, who the principal accused of converting a Muslim student to Christianity during a summer camp not connected with the school or Coach Marszalek.

The lawsuit was filed by the Thomas More Law Center, and a private litigation firm of Cummings, McClorey, Davis & Acho, P.L.C. located in Livonia, Michigan. [Read Complaint here.]

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center commented, “We are getting a glimpse of what happens when Muslims who refuse to accept American values and principles gain political power in an American community. Failure to renew coach Marszalek’s contract had nothing to do with wrestling and everything to do with religion.”

The city of Dearborn is one of the most densely populated Muslim communities in the United States. An estimated 30,000 of its 98,000 residents are Muslims. It is estimated that 80% of the student population of Fordson High School is Arabic and most of those are Muslims. According to the lawsuit, Fadlallah has publically stated that he sees Fordson High School as a Muslim school.

Trouble started between Fadlallah and Marszalek when one of Coach Marszalek’s assistant coaches, Trey Hancock, held a summer wrestling camp in which a Muslim camper converted to Christianity. Principal Fadlallah was so upset by the conversion that he punched the student and informed him he had disgraced his family. Fadlallah also ordered Coach Marszalek to ban the assistant coach from the high school and all wrestling events. However, since the assistant had a son that wrestled on the team, this was an impossible order to enforce. After the wrestling season was over, Coach Marszalek was not allowed to reapply to his coaching position—in clear violation of Union rules. Unfortunately for Coach Marszalek, his teacher’s Union did not help him in his hour of need.

The lawsuit claims violations of both the U.S. and Michigan constitutions and statutes including Michigan’s Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights. Coach Marszalek is seeking his back pay, injunctive and declaratory relief, damages, and to be reinstated as coach of the wrestling team.

He tells you that the board is considering a candidate for a high-level executive position. He advises you to complete a thorough background investigation and have it to him within 10 days.

You immediately call the private detective agency you have used for years and give them the name and address of the prospective candidate, along with the deadline for a high level security clearance.

Your next move is to call your assistant to your office, giving him/her the candidate's personal information along with instructions to "do your standard beginning background checks."

Preliminary findings begin landing in your fax machine on the third day:

• Your candidate has used more than one name.
• His original birth certificate is unavailable.
• He was mentored during his youth by a high level communist in Hawaii , Frank Marshall Davis.
• You receive a 3 page dossier on Frank Marshall Davis.
• You also learn the candidate was proctored into an elite Eastern private university by a middle eastern Muslim, Khalid al-Mansour.
• You receive a short dossier on Khalid al-Mansour.
• You learn the candidate has terrorist organization "Nations of Islam" employees on his current staff, and one of his advisors is a member of the global terrorist group "Muslim Brotherhood."

On day four, you receive in the mail from the security agency two books the candidate has written:

• You read both books, highlighting the anti-American, anti-white racist passages..
• You note the admissions of drug use.
• You also receive in the packet a copy of the bitter anti-white thesis his wife wrote as a college undergraduate.
• You receive a 4 page fax on the candidate's relative, Raila Odinga, who is connected with brutal Muslim politics in Africa, and background information on the candidate's estranged father who was part of Kenya 's most corrupt regime.

The fifth day brings to your special delivery mail the complete background on Bill Ayers; his association with your candidate, his FBI criminal record, and a copy of the book "Rules for Radicals" written by communist Saul Alinsky:
You are advised your candidate used tactics from "Rules for Radicals" at his previous employment.

• You are advised the candidate's wife used an excerpt from this book during a recent speech.
• You receive by fax, a background on A.C.O.R.N. and an alert that this group is being watched by the U.S. Department of Justice and other state and local law enforcement agencies.
• You learn your candidate is endorsed by every Muslim terrorist organization on Earth; that he holds Muslim beliefs.
• His friend, Louis Farrakhan, is head of Nations of Islam.
• You learn that the candidate's pastor met with global terrorist Mohmmar Gaddafi in Libya , along with their mutual friend and anti-American Louis Farrakhan.
• You receive printed transcripts of his pastor's anti-White, anti-American "sermons" and are advised your candidate has been close personal friends with this "pastor" for two decades.
• Your candidate has referred to this radical pastor as his "personal spiritual advisor," and in fact, the title of one of your candidates memoirs was inspired by a line from this pastor's "sermons."

In your fax machine on the sixth morning is a file on one Tony Rezko:

• His friendship, associations and business transactions with your candidate, as well as high level "people" of middle eastern origin, and his federal conviction.

You will spend most of day seven compiling a file on the candidate, TheObamaFile, complete with footnotes and cross references.

• Additional information is arriving regarding the candidate's friends and acquaintances during college.
• You learn that he did not run with a mainstream crowd, but chose radicals and communist agitators for his social group.

The morning of the eighth day has arrived and you and your assistant have placed a small mountain of background information into manageable "piles" - including photographs of the candidate's family in Africa, he and George Soros (including a brief file on the Soros "Open Society Institute"), photos of the candidate and Louis Farrakhan and anti-Israel Arafat advisor Edward Said.

You begin to outline and write your "Summary Evaluation" to the Chairman of the Board of Directors:

• This candidate has a tissue thin work experience resume.
• He has not managed large groups of personnel, departments, material, or P&L statements.
• This candidate's own writing exhibits a deep-seeded anger and resentment towards people of the Caucasian race over the issue of slavery.
• His emotional gravitas is centered upon his African heritage, and his belief that the white man is responsible for global poverty and unequal sharing of wealth.
• The candidate's personal associations since childhood have been mostly with radical African Americans, Muslims, and communists; those who harbor anger towards The United States of America .
• Particularly disturbing is his lengthy relationship with Bill Ayers, an unrepentant Weatherman radical who bombed government buildings and abdicated the overthrow of the United States .
• Given the current global situation of nearly twelve thousand Muslim acts of terrorism since 911, it is disturbing to find his close associations with Muslim groups, MAFO2008.com.
• I have highlighted passages in both books and find one particularly disturbing: "Should the political winds shift in an ugly direction I will side with the Muslims."
• The candidate has surrounded himself with anti-American grievance mongers, and appears to manipulate "typical white people" by appealing to their guilt about slavery.
• He is a socialist, and totally disenfranchised from the history of "root America ."
• The candidate refuses to discuss his years at Columbia University , although he lived off campus and made few friends.
• He will not release his application to the state bar notes which raises questions on several issues including the use of drugs.
• Very little is available about his experience with the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a foundation that spent $100 million with no discernable benefit for the schools and students that it was putatively designed to help.

It is therefore my strongest recommendation this candidate not be considered for any position within the corporation.

Translation: We will use your constitution's guarantee of freedom of religion and use it to install the teachings of Islam, which do not!

The Holy War has arrived. We are being attacked from within. The takeover of America is in progress. A country which was founded on and rooted in Judeo-Christian values. It will be subtle at first………….But make no mistake, “The One” has spoken. He has said we are no longer a Christian Nation. Why is that so important to Obama?

Neither, apparently is being an American. He emphasized proudly to masses in Germany that he is, a citizen of the world not just the United States of America. When he says, "We Are The Ones We Have Been Waiting For", who exactly is he addressing? Certainly not the majority of citizens of the United States of America.

What better way to achieve the goals of the jihad than to install a stealth candidate, sympathetic to the Muslim cause? This candidate must have unique qualities and must never compromise his background. Who better than Obama fits this bill? He seems to have no background and takes pains to keep it vague and sanitized, despite the fact that what is known is spotty at best.

America has a stain on it in the form of slavery and racial prejudice. That stain is quickly dissolving in America, so time is of the essence. Barack was in danger of losing the primary so racial issues had to be re-ignited. It wasn’t enough, so they had to be inflamed. Once ablaze, that fire burned out of control and resulted in a 90% vote for Barack in the AA community. All this for a man who has done little to advance AA causes and in fact much to undermine them in his short time in office. The tenements of his district in Chicago and his well paid slumlord patrons bear grim testimony to that fact. This is a man who turned a blind eye to the poor and suffering AA’s in his own community.

But America, in its quest to rid itself of racial prejudice once and for all has embraced a man they know little good about. The Party's elitist’s have, in all their wisdom, embraced a man they know little good about. The media elites in all their wisdom have embraced this man and have refused to expose him. Why? To question him would be racist.

The AA community has embraced this man and see him as a beacon of hope and change. And why wouldn’t they? He looks like them and promises that he is sympathetic to their struggles. We identify with those we think are like us. He is black but also white and Arab. He has led a charmed life of elite private schools and has never endured the hardships or struggles that many of the AA’s who wish to see themselves in him have.

During an interview, he made a slip saying “my Muslim faith”. Barack is free to practice his Muslim faith if he so chooses. The greatest thing about this country is that you are free to practice whatever religion you wish. The question is not whether he’s a Muslim but rather, why is he hiding it?

TUCC is simply a storefront draped in Christian window covering. But behind the glass is the pulpit of a few ideologies, many of which directly attack the tenets of Christianity. One of those ideologies is that of the Nation of Islam in America.

Louis Farrakhan is the leading spokesman of the Nation of Islam. His followers are often seen front and center during Rev. Wright’s sermons with their starched white shirts and bow ties, often tapping the Rev. on his back when he makes a point with which they agree. Christian churches preach tolerance but do not have large populations of Islamic followers in them. Because, no matter how inclusive that church might be, Christianity and Islam are different faiths. It’s not because they wouldn’t be welcomed, they would. But the ideologies are vastly separate.

If TUCC is really a Christian church, which is about love and inclusion, how could it espouse the teachings of Black Liberation Theology, which is about hatred and exclusion? The answer is simple; they can’t. It goes against all things Christian. You cannot promote and uplift one segment of humanity while despising others.

There is a reason Barack hides this relationship, for Louis Farrakhan is a radical. Louis Farrakhan was prohibited by Bill Clinton from receiving a 1 billion dollar gift from the Pan Am 103 bombing terrorist Muammar Qaddafi. A gift that was to be used for…..: community organizing. Barack marched in Louis Farrakhan’s Million Man March. Michelle is very good friends with the Farrakhan’s. The very same Louis Farrakhan who was named "Man of the Year" and honored by...Barack's Christian church. The very same man whom traveled with Rev Wright to Libya to meet with Qaddafi.

President Ronald Reagan killed Qaddafi’s sons in an air strike aimed at Moammar himself. Do you think Qaddafi would like to see the US paid back for the killing of his family? You bet he would. Now, America’s chickens have come home to roost….Louis Farrakhan lives in the same neighborhood as Barack, Wright, Pfleger and Ayers.

Rev. Wright is extolled as Barack's mentor in his autobiography. The preacher who was once a Muslim but converted to TUCC's version of Christianity: Black Liberation but Hate White theology. The preacher who taught his flock "God Damn America". "US of KKKA, white America invented the Aids virus to kill black people, Hillary ain’t never been called a Ni@@er, who bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki" preacher. Never mind that Christians and especially preachers typically don’t say "God Damn" in church, never mind that the people of the USA find the KKK a disgusting and vile organization and all but extinguished it, pushing it to the underground wing nut fringes of society, never mind that the USA didn’t invent the Aids virus, never mind that Hillary has been called every vile name known in the English language, never mind that the Japanese snuck up on our country and slaughtered thousands of Americans in their quest for global dominance with the Germans.

I say never mind because anyone in their right mind would have written this guy off in a New York second for the dangerous nut job he is. Not Barack. Nope. Barack lapped this mindset up for 20 long years. 20! And he "didn’t find anything the Reverend said to be particularly divisive." His words, not mine. Not divisive??? Well, things aren’t divisive when you believe in them.

And as for Wright’s disdain towards Hillary? Well, she’s a Clinton and her husband kept 1 billion dollars from going to Wright’s dear friend and TUCC’s Man of the Year….Louis Farrakhan. In short, the Clintons robbed him and he wants revenge.

And what of all that money going into Barrack’s campaign coffers? Where is that coming from? Hillary was thought to have more than an adequate war chest for her campaign with over a $100 million dollars. And that was before she got started! Donations she accumulated over a long period of time. How it is Barack was able to raise $750 million seemingly overnight? Who has that kind of money besides wealthy Muslim oil producing countries? Who are these financiers?

His other “mentors” are equally as troubling.

Barack’s first known mentor in America was Frank Davis. “In his autobiographical Dreams from My Father, U.S. Senator and Democratic Party presidential candidate Barack Obama wrote about "Frank", a friend of his grandfather's.” (Source Wikipedia) Frank Marshall Davis was a known member of the Communist Party USA and lived less than 50 miles from Baracks grandfather. (On his mother’s side.)

Hamas Cleric Predicts 'Rome Will Be Conquered by Islam'

A sermon last Friday by a prominent Muslim cleric and Hamas member of the Palestinian parliament openly declared that "the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital," would soon be conquered by Islam.

The fiery sermon, delivered by Yunis al-Astal and aired on Hamas' Al-Aqsa TV, predicted that Rome would become "an advanced post for the Islamic conquests, which will spread though Europe in its entirety, and then will turn to the two Americas, even Eastern Europe."

"Allah has chosen you for Himself and for His religion," al-Astal preached, "so that you will serve as the engine pulling this nation to the phase of succession, security and consolidation of power, and even to conquests through da'wa and military conquests of the capitals of the entire world...."

Muslims Outnumber Catholics

Islam has surpassed Roman Catholicism as the world's largest religion, the Vatican newspaper said Sunday.

"For the first time in history, we are no longer at the top: Muslims have overtaken us," Monsignor Vittorio Formenti said in an interview with the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano. Formenti compiles the Vatican's yearbook....

"It is true that while Muslim families, as is well known, continue to make a lot of children, Christian ones on the contrary tend to have fewer and fewer," the monsignor said....

Bin Laden Blasts Pope, New "Crusade"

DUBAI (Reuters) - Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden threatened the European Union with grave punishment on Wednesday over cartoons of Islam's Prophet Mohammad.

In an audio recording posted on the Internet coinciding with the birthday of Islam's founder, bin Laden said the drawings, considered offensive by Muslims, were part of a "new crusade" in which Pope Benedict was involved.

"Your publications of these drawings -- part of a new crusade in which the Pope of the Vatican had a significant role -- is a confirmation from you that the war continues," said the Saudi-born militant leader, addressing "those who are wise at the European Union".

You are "testing Muslims ... the answer will be what you shall see and not what you hear. May our mothers lose us to death if we did not rise in defense of the messenger of God..."

New Crusade? I admit that I've tried to limit the amount of time going over the news during this Lenten season, but I had no idea that a new Crusade was being called for by the Holy Father.

It makes me wonder, does Islamofacism cause such mental disease as manifested by Bin Laden or does this apparent mental problem of religious fanatics/terrosists like Bin Laden make them susceptible to Islamofacism? Religion of peace - sure.

I’m afraid that at a theological and dogmatic level, dialogue with Islam is impossible. Often in Beirut, Muslims would ask me: ‘How is it possible that an educated person, a professor, believes in three gods?’ Obviously, they were referring to the Christian dogma of the Trinity. That’s an example of the difficulties of dialogue. Some who are favorable to theological dialogue with Muslims forget that at a certain point, you have to choose. For Muslims, it’s very clear: God is one. They chant it five times every day...

Dutch Bishop's 'Allah' Comments Draw Reaction

Recently Bishop Martinus "Tiny" Muskens of Breda suggested that we should all begin referring to God as "Allah"....

And, as expected, his statements have generated quite a reaction. MSNBC reports:

A survey in the Netherlands' biggest-selling newspaper De Telegraaf on Wednesday found 92 percent of the more than 4,000 people polled disagreed with the bishop's view, which also drew ridicule.

Ridiculous suggestions deserve ridiculous responses, and more. This comment might even be prophetic considering the state of Christianity in many parts of Europe:

"Sure. Lets call God Allah. Lets then call a church a mosque and pray five times a day. Ramadan sounds like fun," Welmoet Koppenhol wrote in a letter to the newspaper.

Regretably, many may be calling their churches 'mosques' before long.

Amsterdam, Aug. 14, 2007 (CWNews.com) - A Dutch Catholic bishop has suggested that Christians should refer to God as "Allah" to promote better relations with Muslims.

Bishop Martinus "Tiny" Muskens of Breda told the "Network" television show that "God doesn't really care how we address Him."

We need far, far fewer followers of Judas in the Church today. Unfortunately, some must suffer at the hands of bishops who appear to have lost the faith. We should pray that those under this man's care might preserve their faith, or rediscover it if it has been lost, despite the attempts to destroy it, both from within and from outside the Church.

Pope's private secretary warns of Islamization of Europe

Pope Benedict XVI's private secretary warned of the Islamization of Europe and stressed the need for the continent's Christian roots not to be ignored, in comments released Thursday.

"Attempts to Islamize the west cannot be denied," Monsignor Georg Gaenswein was quoted as saying in an advance copy of the weekly Sueddeutsche Magazin to be published Friday.

"The danger for the identity of Europe that is connected with it should not be ignored out of a wrongly understood respectfulness," the magazine quoted him as saying...

Eurabia - the result of a "wrongly understood respectfulness"... Isn't this the same as, or similar to, a "political correctness" gone awry...Actually when doesn't "political correctness" lead to major problems?

Shortly after noon on Fridays, the Rev. Ann Holmes Redding ties on a black headscarf, preparing to pray with her Muslim group on First Hill.

On Sunday mornings, Redding puts on the white collar of an Episcopal priest.

She does both, she says, because she's Christian and Muslim.

Confused? Probably not as much as Ann Holmes Redding is...

Her announcement has provoked surprise and bewilderment in many, raising an obvious question: How can someone be both a Christian and a Muslim?

How indeed? But where there's a will (albeit, disturbed and incoherent), there's a way!

...religious scholars are mixed: Some say that, depending on how one interprets the tenets of the two faiths, it is, indeed, possible to be both.

Psycho-babble morphing into theo-babble - perverting the normal understanding of "All things are possible with God..."

Is this an example of what the educational system has done? Check the philosophical acumen Redding displays...Profound!

Redding, who will begin teaching the New Testament as a visiting assistant professor at Seattle University this fall, has a different analogy: "I am both Muslim and Christian, just like I'm both an American of African descent and a woman. I'm 100 percent both."

You too can be both a Mohammedan and a Christian - it's as easy as saying to yourself that you're an American with blonde hair and a human! There! See how easy it is?

[It might be well worth noting that Seattle University is "one of 28 Jesuit universities in the United States and more than 100 around the world." (Source) So why, some might ask, would a "Catholic" university hire someone like this? Some have stated that it (the university) may have run out of apostate Jesuits to teach the class - and that might be a good thing. Nonetheless, this should prompt all of us to pray for this Jesuit institution and for this woman who apparently has quite a number of "issues."]

Redding's bishop, the Rt. Rev. Vincent Warner, says he accepts Redding as an Episcopal priest and a Muslim, and that he finds the interfaith possibilities exciting.

Is it really any wonder why the Episcopal church is in such disarray?

When one thinks about it, is it really any different than saying "I'm Catholic and Pro-Choice", or "I'm a devout Catholic and I support embryonic stem cell research." ? The two positions are completely opposed to each other, irreconcilable - at least, until such a time as pigs fly.
