Spiritual Sickness in Canada

What's the first clue? The headline tells us:
Canada Catholics 'ordain' women
Catholics who know their faith already recognize this as an utter impossibility. But then there are those who wish to defy, not only the Church, but Christ Himself.

An ordination ceremony that openly defies Roman Catholic doctrine has taken place in Toronto.

Five women and a married man, all Roman Catholics, have been ordained as priests and deacons by a female Catholic bishop.

While the BBC reported this as an "ordination ceremony," Catholics understand it as something else - some might even call it a circus...

The ordination ceremony was held at a Protestant church on the outskirts of Toronto known for its liberal views.
Known for its "liberal views"? Perhps there ise an aversion to precise terminology...?

Priestly 'sacrament'

The building was packed with an enthusiastic congregation.
Enthusiastic? No doubt...How often does a person get to see live clowns these days?

They watched as Bishop Patricia Fresen, one of the most well-known figures in the Roman Catholic Womenpriests movement, led the five women and one married man through a number of rituals to mark their ordination.

Hmmmm, OK...

Bishop Fresen was herself ordained in a secret ceremony in Spain in 2003.
A "secret" ceremony - to protect the "bishop" who supposedly was involved in the farce...

...the bishops in the Womenpriests movement claim they are part of the Church's valid apostolic succession, because Catholic bishops in good standing ordained them secretly.
The "bishops" of Womenpriests? Apostolic succession? Let's see - do I believe the delusional or do I believe the Church? Anyone who has a problem that question has a problem with Christ Himself...If it wasn't so sad, it wuold be funny. But here, souls at at risk - for all eternity.
