She had been looking at a picture in which Our Lord was represented with two children. The younger child was sitting on His knee caressing Him, whilst the other shyly and reverently kissed His hand. "I am the little one on Our Lord's knee," she said, "who looks up fearlessly and kisses Him. I prefer him to the other child, who is behaving like a grown-up person."
