Pope Benedict XVI has taken the unusually step of intervening in the discussions of the Synod of Bishops and recommending a particular item for inclusion in the Synod's final report. The Pope spoke to a Synod session on Tuesday, October 14, and suggested that the Church should encourage Scripture scholars and theologians to work together, so that the study of the Bible is fully informed by the content of the faith.

Wright 101-Obama funded extremist Afrocentrists who shared Rev. Wright’s anti-Americanism by Stanley Kurtz
It looks like Jeremiah Wright was just the tip of the iceberg. Not only did Barack Obama savor Wright’s sermons, Obama gave legitimacy — and a whole lot of money — to education programs built around the same extremist anti-American ideology preached by Reverend Wright. And guess what? Bill Ayers is still palling around with the same bitterly anti-American Afrocentric ideologues that he and Obama were promoting a decade ago. All this is revealed by a bit of digging, combined with a careful study of documents from the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, the education foundation Obama and Ayers jointly led in the late 1990s...

Racine (WI) schools hand out textbook with 15 page Obama love-fest...
This comes from the mother of a Racine Unified School District 8th grader. She has asked to keep her name out of this but frankly I can't add much to what she has said here but I do have one question. Did the teacher give equal time and a fair discussion about John McCain and his "life of service"? I think I already know the answer to that question. This is not education folks, this is indoctrination.

Obama's Kenya ghosts (and Raila Odinga)

When Will MSM Report Obama's Support for Kenyan Tyrant Odinga?
The Odinga association may be even more devastating than the Bill Ayers link, because Obama cannot make the "I was only eight years old when this bad stuff happened" excuse. Also, questions are being raised if Obama may have violated the Logan Act. Additionally, Odinga's thugs were involved in the slaughter of thousands of Kenyans.
