SF Archbishop Shows Support for Dissent

In another move which seems to do nothing more than demonstrate Archbishop Neiderauer's commitment to all that is heterodox, we read that he
will attend conference featuring speakers who openly challenge Church’s magisterium “to be able to hear what Catholic laity have to say”

Source, California Catholic Daily.

Who or what is this Northern California Lay Convocation? Sounds like just another CTA, FOSIL, or other soon-to-be-extinct heretical group...
Perhaps its "First Annual Convocation" will also be its last, if that be God's will?

And also, let us pray that Archbishop Neiderauer receive a call from Rome or his brother bishops, to repent and to cease his scandalous behavior.

From its own website we read:
Baptized into the body of Christ, Confirmed in the Spirit, and Commissioned by the Word to enter into, and effect, the mystery of God's love on earth, we join with brothers and sisters of good will to form a Convocation of Lay Persons committed to most fully and inclusively realizing in the Church, and in the world, the grace, beauty and wisdom of Catholic Life and Teaching as promulgated in the Documents of the Second Vatican Council.

And regarding its upcoming "convocation"....

Lay persons and clergy from the Archdiocese of San Francisco, the Dioceses of Santa Rosa, Stockton, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland, Monterey and Fresno, committed to living out the Faith they love as mature, responsible Catholics, by increasing the voice and presence of the Laity in Church decision-making.
