Prayers & Reflections for February 11

The Armor of God
Reflections and Prayers for Wartime

It is hard to understand why God should seemingly care so much for sinners; but does not a mother rejoice more at the recovery of her sick child, than at the continued health of the rest of the family?

Did not the Prodigal Son get the fatted calf, while the one who stayed at home was not so much as given a goat?
