Recite One Our Father, One Hail Mary and One Glory Be per day followed by the Novena Prayer:

O Lord our God, You alone are the Most Holy King and Ruler of all nations.

We pray to You, Lord, in the great expectation of receiving from You, O Divine King, mercy, peace, justice and all good things.

Protect, O Lord our King, our families and the land of our birth.

Guard us we pray Most Faithful One.

Protect us from our enemies and from Your Just Judgment.

Forgive us, O Sovereign King, our sins against you.

Jesus, You are a King of Mercy.

We have deserved Your Just Judgment
Have mercy on us, Lord, and forgive us.

Sept. 7-15: Novena to Our Lady of Sorrows

This novena to Our Lady of Sorrows is a beautiful devotion passed on to us by Saint Bridget.

It will help you prepare spiritually for the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, which is September 15. And to grow in holiness.

To do the novena, you say the novena prayers and read the meditations for nine consecutive days, from September 7 to September 15.

There are 7 magnificent graces the Blessed Virgin Mary grants to souls who say seven Hail Marys and meditate on Her tears and sorrows. One is:
"I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will defend them at every instant of their lives."

I hope you can say this novena, benefit from its promises, and comfort the Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary by meditating on Her tears and sorrows.

Prayer
Be blessed, O most pure Virgin, for having vouchsafed to manifest your shining with life, sweetness and beauty, in the Grotto of Lourdes, saying to the child, St. Bernadette: "I am the Immaculate Conception." A thousand times we congratulate you upon your Immaculate Conception. And now, O ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of mercy, Health of the sick, Refuge of sinners, Comforter of the afflicted, you know our wants, our troubles, our sufferings deign to cast upon us a look of mercy.

By appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes, you were pleased to make it a privileged sanctuary, whence you dispense your favors, and already many have obtained the cure of their infirmities, both spiritual and physical. We come, therefore, with the most unbounded confidence to implore your maternal intercession. Obtain for us, O loving Mother, the granting of our request. request Through gratitude for your favors, we will endeavor to imitate your virtues, that we may one day share your glory.

What better way is there to start a New Year than to offer a nine day novena for our beloved Archbishop Raymond L. Burke?

Good Catholics in St. Louis and around the world admire and appreciate the example and leadership of His Grace. As we enter into this election year, we have no doubt that once again our Archbishop will courageously lead Catholics and all citizens of good conscience by his teachings and example, especially on issues of life and family.

Please join us then, in praying for his intentions the Irresistible Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, beginning on Monday January 7th and ending on Tuesday January 15th

The Redemptoristine Nuns will host their annual novena in honor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Tuesday, June 19, through Wednesday, June 27.

Mass will be celebrated each evening at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel at the Redemptoristine Nuns’ Monastery of St. Alphonsus in Liguori. The praying of the Rosary, beginning at 7 p.m., will procede the novena Masses.
