VATICAN CITY (CNN) -- Pope John Paul II has been rushed to hospital by ambulance after suffering a recurrence of the flu that forced him to be hospitalized for 10 days earlier this month.Please keep the Holy Father in your prayers.
The Vatican said the 84-year-old pope had a relapse of the flu and was taken to Gemelli hospital at 10:45 a.m. (0945 GMT) on Thursday for "specialist treatment and further checks."
