12 Religious Sisters Celebrating Jubilee Anniversaries

A dozen religious sisters in the Denver Archdiocese are observing jubilee anniversaries this year. The women will be recognized at a 6:30 p.m. Mass June 3 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Archbishop Charles Chaput, O.F.M. Cap., will be the celebrant. Friends and family of the honorees are invited to the liturgy.

One has lived 70 years as a religious sister, four have lived the consecrated life for 60 years and seven have lived it 50 years. Whether they’ve lived their call in the world or as a cloistered nun, all describe their vocation as one rich with graces — and all would urge those who feel a call to consecrated life to pursue it. It’s a wonderful life, they say.

May God continue to bless these dedicated women religious. More, including short biographies, can be read here at the Denver Catholic Register.
