Just for Today, November 19

-Bk. III, ch. liv.

She had been given a new habit (the one preserved as a relic), and had worn it for the first time at Christmas 1896. It was the second she had had since her Clothing, and it fitted her very badly. I asked if this caused her any annoyance: "Not in the least! No more than if it belonged to a Chinaman thousands of miles away."
