U.S. Bishops Address Abortion, '08 Election

While there remain some bishops who continue to 'nuance' the fact that abortion is and remains the pre-eminent issue facing the voters and the unborn, we are relieved that more and more bishops are proclaiming the truth....Several Bishops are mentioned in this article. Those who spoke the truth rather than the Democratic talking points were:

Milwaukee Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan

Bishop Robert J. Hermann, St. Louis auxiliary who is apostolic administrator of the St. Louis Archdiocese

Bishop Robert F. Vasa of Baker, Ore.

Bishop Arthur J. Serratelli of Paterson, N.J.

Bishop Robert W. Finn of Kansas City-St. Joseph, Mo

Bishop James V. Johnston of Springfield-Cape Girardeau

Bishop Paul S. Coakley of Salina, Kan

Bishops Kevin J. Farrell of Dallas K

Kevin W. Vann of Fort Worth, Texas,

Others, with their nuanced views, included:

Bishop J. Terry Steib of Memphis, Tenn
Auxiliary Bishop Gabino Zavala of Los Angeles

The article is here...

Perhaps, when ALL Catholic Bishops speak with one voice on the abortion issue in politics, might we see less and less of the "Cafeteria" approach embraced by so many of the laity?

Use this:

The email address listed assumes that the [at] is replaced by "@" and that [dot] is replaced with a "."

Sorry for the confusion.
