Just for Today, March 17

He does much who loves much.
-Bk. I, ch. xv.
______________

How can we fear Him who says: Thou hast wounded my heart, my sister, my spouse...with one hair of thy neck (Cant. iv, 9)? When He speaks of a single hair having such power, He means that the least action done out of love wins His heart. How unhappy would be our lot if great deeds were expected of us, but how fortunate we are to be able to win Jesus by means of such trifles.
