This looks to be an interesting book...

As related at Lifesite, there is a very interesting and encouraging story of faith and science. It concerns one Francis Collins, the man headed the team of scientists who cracked the human genome.

“When you have for the first time in front of you this 3.1 billion-letter instruction book that conveys all kinds of information and all kinds of mystery about humankind you can’t survey that going through page after page without a sense of awe. I can’t help but look at those pages and have a vague sense that this is giving me a glimpse of God’s mind.”

His book, The Language of God, scheduled to be published in September, sets out to "explain how a scientist who studies genetics came to be a believer in a God who is unlimited by time and space, and who takes personal interest in human beings..."

Collins admits to being an "obnoxious atheist" before being persuaded by the convincing arguments and reason of C.S. Lewis in Mere Christianity.

This is yet another example of God's blessings in action. I'm looking forward to this man's story and his insights.
